Electrical Hardware Design Engineer (m/f)

Our client is specialized in the development of safety-critical software and hardware for military and civil aviation applications and other industries.
The vacancy is a hardware design position for aircraft control and monitoring systems. You will join a team of engineers designing
digital and mixed signal boards for the application in safety critical equipment.
Your responsibilities
- Development of board requirements specifications by taking into account upper level equipment requirements specification
- Development of new solutions/ circuits to transfer the board requirements specification into a digi-tal and analogue board design, including the adaptation and optimization of existing designs
- Establishment of necessary design documentation in accordance to international airworthiness standards
- Development and documentation of board test procedures according to defined test strategies
- Execution of board verification on engineering level and formal approach
- Support the development of production test specification
- Support the senior design engineer in the management of the board design / verification
- Autonomous working within board development teams according to AES and project specific de-velopment processes
Your experience
- Degree (university or university of applied sciences) in electrical engineering, control engineering, aerospace engineering or comparably apprenticeship with a minimum 3 years of work experience desirable
- Experience in the fields of
- Requirements based design / verification (preferably DOORS)
- Analogue circuit design
- Digital circuit design (Microcontroller systems and FPGA)
- Analogue and Digital circuit simulation within OrCAD PSpice
- Schematics implementation within CAD
- Board verification
- is mandatory
- Experience in the fields of CAD within Zuken CR5000 or Mentor Board station, VHDL design and C-programming and Avionics applications is desirable
- Practical team player with language Reference level for English of at least B2 (CEFR)
